Domestic
Relations Court is a division of the Court of Common Pleas. This
division hears all cases involving divorce, dissolution, legal
separation, annulment, and all non-criminal domestic violence.
Matters involving child custody, visitation, child and spousal
support are also under the jurisdiction of this court.
Domestic
clerks are responsible for initiating and maintaining all case
files and the collection and distribution of filing fees and costs.
Assistance is available in filling out the petition for a protection
order.
Local
rules requires approval from the court before filing a petition
for dissolution. Pleadings which do not require deposits or filing
fees may be submitted by fax. More information on procedure and

clerk's office is open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
except for holidays.
