Born June 6, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Education
Graduate of Batavia High School 1966. Received B.A. in 1970 and Juris Doctor degree 1973 from University of Cincinnati. Case Note Editor of Law Review and member of Order of Coif at U.C. Law School.

Admitted to practice in Ohio, Federal District and United States Supreme Court

Member and partner of Walker, Bradford & Hill Attorneys, 1973 - 1987

Clermont County Public Defender, 1974 - 1979

Clermont County Court Judge, Pro Tem, 1979 - 1980, 1985 - 1986.

Elected in 1986, 1992 and 1998 to Clermont County Common Pleas Court. Elected Presiding and Administrative Judge by fellow judges for seven years. As Presiding Judge brought computerization to records of court, jury selection, probation department; instituted "intensive probation services", " intensive sex offender supervision", and community service programs; instituted court wide civil mediation program; spearheaded new court house construction process which resulted in new facility in 1998.

Attended numerous courses at National Judicial College, including General Jurisdiction Course, Advanced Evidence, Computer Skills for Judges, Managing the Complex Case, Mediation Training. Invited to participate at National Judicial College as a group leader. Prepared and presented materials in CLE approved seminars for NITA, Hamilton and Clermont County Bars Associations, and the University of Cincinnati law School on trial techniques, ethics, worker's compensation and psychiatry and the law.
